ABOUT  ( Point Of Care UltraSound) POCUS  workshop.

POCUS workshop is a trailer of the various applications of ultrasound in clinical context in all possible scenarios. The elements of POCUS were part and parcel of our various ultrasound courses conducted under different headings. The formal POCUS workshop got invented in 2020 when we decided to launch regional anaesthesia courses along with basic FATE to train participants to solve clinical challenges through application of ultrasound before anaesthesia in emergency.  

Dr Amit Dixit, who is originally a learned national level faculty in ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia and further got proficient in both Basic and Advance FATE, suggested the POCUS model.   

In 2020, during the first “TRAINING THE TRAINER” course, the concept of POCUS was unanimously supported by all the learned faculties.
